IDCO begin preparations to organize the "Gaza Earth Event" ,which will coincides with the international events of  Earth's Day in April 22^nd , the Gaza event will be included two days seminars and a study tour  , Moreover, this year a special attention will be paid on the issues related to climate change at local and regional levels.

The aim of this event is to highlight the potential impacts of changes in climatic conditions and in related variables, which could affect the coastal areas in general and Gaza strip in particular, as well as to identify potential needed response measures which could reduce the vulnerability of coastal systems and enhance their adaptability. Moreover, the event is targeting the community sectors located in the Gaza strip, such as governmental officials, NGOs representatives,   policy makers, academic institutions , community leaders, …etc.
