The
stimulation of community's improvement and development is
one of the most outstanding careers serving generations and
their resources. Working on the facts that "practice
preceded theory" and "people have the right to participate
in decisions that which have an effect upon their
well-being", IDCO has adopted a developmental framework
taking into consideration, the variety in communities, the
variety in needs and the variations in circumstances from
place to place and time to time. Community development
practice has to be dynamic by necessity and need.
To achieve this philosophy, IDCO works to link together the
main elements of community
development, sustainability, food security, health, capacity
Building and environment conservation,
through
introducing consultancies ,
training , advocacy and networking toward protecting the
cultural and natural values of communities as well as
supporting the local positive initiatives serving
communities and response to their needs
